Getting mad and stressed aren’t symptoms of weed use, quite the opposite, it tends to mellow people out. Also, there’s no evidence that it’s bad for your health. So I’d leave her be. If she’s been doing it many years, it means she can handle it, she’s OK with it. One of the things that’s hard to explain to kids is that some people can handle a given drug and others can’t. When you first try a drug (and I hope you don’t) it’s like Russian Roulette, because you can end up like an alcoholic on skid row or you may be just fine and not use it again or use it moderately. Your mom seems to be one of the people who can handle weed, and, really, drinking — which more parents do — is worse.

Tell her the dangers of smoking weed and to get help if that does’nt work tell her the next time you catch her smoking weed you will call the cops .Trust me if she gets arrested for weed she has no choice but to get help

Have you ever tried telling her how much pain it courses you?….
If your like me when i was 15 and have trouble talking openly and honestly to you mum then you should try writing her a letter with all your feelings and sadness….be honest and don’t worry about writing things that may upset her.
I used to be a weed smoker and when my friends tried to help me to stop it just made me want to smoke even more…. she needs to understand that her habit is hurting you,then she may see it’s better for everyone if she stops… good luck sweetie… I hard a hard time with my mother when i was your age (my father wasn’t around) but things work out in the end… stay positive … i send you a big hug..
If you or anyone wants to be loved they must be loveable.

The sad fact is that she is an adult and has chosen to live her life this way. And there’s not much you can do about it right now.
You need to focus on school so you can get into and get scholarships for good colleges.
Hopefully this will teach you that decisions you make affect those around you deeply which will make you a better parent than she is.

Congrats on making the right choice! Talk to your mom, tell her about the health risks, not to mention the fact that it is illegal and you could be taken from her. Maybe go online and see all the bad things weed does to your body and mind. People who smoke weed have a higher risk of dementia and cancers. Explain to her that you love her and don’t want to lose her to cancer or prison. Give her the pro’s and con’s of quiting smoking. I cant think of any con’s, except that she wont be able to get high anymore..maybe suggest something that she is interested in to do instead of getting high. Make sure you stress how important is it to you that she quits not just for you, but for her health. Tell her how much you love her and how it hurts you when she gets high. I hope she understands.

ask her if she love herself and you then she will stop but if she do not therefore she does not love herself and wath god created.Also she has to do some soul searching and find out what really is the problem, it could be that something happen to her in the past that she cammot get over.

Get it switched to generic Zyban (bupropion). Bupropion is almost always covered because it has two indications: depression and smoking cessation. It is not as good as Chantix, but still much better than everything else.
Most insurances do pay for Chantix or require a prior authorization.

WEll you should talk to her about going to rehab or about her going to some consuler because you cant really make her stop you could try but it’s her decision wheather she does it or not because yeah you can tell her to stop but that doesnt mean she that she’s gonna stop tell her that you feel like it’s affecting you in short words tell her how you feel

Sometimes things just don’t make sense. I agree that it’s silly for health insurance not to pay for this drug. I must say though that here are better methods for quitting smoking. You can’r expect her to stop period… But, you could express your feelings to her and hope for the best… In the end it’s her life so don’t have any expectations, just accept her decision and support her or move on.
