Miami Stop Smoking Hypnosis, with Best hypnotist in Miami

http://www.miamihypnosis.org
Hypnotherapy is therapy that is undertaken with a subject in hypnosis.

The word “hypnosis” is an abbreviation of James Braid’s (1843) term “neuro-hypnotism”, meaning “sleep of the nervous system”.

A person who is hypnotized displays certain unusual characteristics and propensities, compared with a non-hypnotized subject, most notably hyper-suggestibility, which some authorities have considered a sine qua non of hypnosis. For example, Clark L. Hull, probably the first major empirical researcher in the field, wrote,

If a subject after submitting to the hypnotic procedure shows no genuine increase in susceptibility to any suggestions whatever, there seems no point in calling him hypnotised [...] (Hull, Hypnosis & Suggestion, 1933: 392)

Hypnotherapy is often applied in order to modify a subject’s behavior, emotional content, and attitudes, as well as a wide range of conditions including dysfunctional habits, anxiety, stress-related illness, pain management, and personal development.

Hypnotic Weight Loss: Losing Weight With Hypnosis

Weight loss hypnosis is gaining momentum as a viable and popular weight loss method. It has recently been hailed as one of the most effective techniques for difficult to break habits such as binge or over eating as well as smoking. It is believed that self hypnosis is an effective way to change feelings and actions that are difficult to alter using ordinary consciousness. This is because hypnosis reaches a different part of the mind, the part that accepts change more readily.

One woman recently lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks and loss her cravings for fast food and diet soda. She had this to say. “I have been listening for just over 2 weeks now and I have lost 10lbs so far! Right up until my last meal before listening to my first session, I was craving fast food constantly. I have not had a single bite, or even wanted one since. A nice extra, I was also previously addicted to diet soda, I tried to give up several times with no success. I have not had a sip since my first CD I am excited to find out what other cool things I am going to be able to accomplish with your help!”

You see hypnotherapists contend that weight gain is a result of behavioral patterns supported by foundation of subconscious attitudes and emotions. Hypnosis itself is very safe, with no negative side-effects. It simply attempts to help you mentally deal break free of some of the destructive habits that cause you to gain and keep on unwanted pounds.

If weight loss has proven to be a struggle, hypnosis can provide the extra motivation to keep you moving in the direction of your goals. It may also enable you to escape the difficult food traps that get in the way of weight loss. Hypnosis can be a powerful tool for re-educating your unconscious mind – the part that creates cravings and impulses – to stop eating foods that add unwanted pounds to your waist line.

However, in order for weight loss hypnosis to be effective, their must be a desire for change. Change will not occur if the recipient does not want it. However, for those with the desire, hypnosis can be a very powerful method to lose weight. Hypnosis is incredibly powerful, but it is not a magical cure-all. Nothing is! It can instead, be a spring board to a better and healthier lifestyle.

Demystifying the Powers of Hypnosis

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe it can
achieve.” - Napolean Hill

Hypnosis is an enjoyable, easy and effective way to change our
bad habits into good ones and our negative feelings into
positive ones. All of our emotions, beliefs, and habits reside
in the subconscious mind and hypnosis provides direct access to
the subconscious mind to replace any negatives with powerful,
positive beliefs.

While many people think of it as “deep sleep”, hypnosis is a
comfortable and relaxed state that focuses attention and
concentration, bypasses the conscious mind filter, and allows
the subconscious mind to be open and receptive to positive
suggestions, tapping into the power of the body-mind connection.
Most people experience a heightened state of awareness when they
are hypnotized, while only about 10% will enter into a state
where their mind is so relaxed that they do not remember the
session.

People experience this natural, normal state at least twice each
day - before they go to sleep and when they wake up. If you have
experienced arriving somewhere and can’t remember actually
driving there, or if you have missed a freeway exit then you
have been in a natural hypnotic state often referred to as
“highway hypnosis”.

Natural hypnosis may also occur when you become so involved in
an activity, reading a book, or watching a movie that everything
else seems to be blocked out, even to the point of not hearing
people who talk to you. Whenever concentration is intense, it’s
easy to slip into a natural hypnotic state.

Hypnosis has been used for thousands of years as a powerful tool
to help and heal. Early records mark the Egyptian sleep temples
and the Temple of Aesculapius in Greece as sites where hypnosis
was used as an important part of the healing treatment.

The ancient Hawaiian Kahuna’s, healing masters, routinely used
hypnosis in their healing practices. A resurgence of the use of
hypnosis began in the 1700’s with the work of an Austrian
physician named Franz Anton Mesmer. In the 1800’s Dr. James
Braid brought hypnosis to the medical arena with his work in
hypnoanesthesia.

Hypnosis was used as an effective and rapid treatment for “shell
shock”, now referred to as post-traumatic stress disorders,
following World War I, World War II, and the Korean War.

The American Medical Association approved hypnosis as an
effective treatment in 1958 and recommended that training in
hypnosis be included in medical school curriculum. Hypnosis and
guided imagery continue to be integrated into modern medical and
health care systems.

The National Institute of Health recognizes hypnosis as a
Complimentary and Alternative Medicine treatment modality and
continues to fund research to validate the importance of
hypnosis.

Research results have shown dramatic results in a variety of
areas, particularly as an adjunct to conventional cancer
treatments and for pain management. Moving even more into the
traditional arenas of medical care, hypnosis remains as one of
the most powerful healing modalities by utilizing the power of
the subconscious mind in motivating the mind-body connection for
balance and health.

Hypnosis is probably best known for breaking habits with stop
smoking and weight loss success and yet it has been found to be
effective in reducing and managing stress, achieving deep
relaxation, increasing energy, overcoming fears, overcoming
insomnia, and reducing the experience of pain.

Hypnosis has also been shown to be effective in overcoming test
anxiety, improving test performance, improving sports
performance, improving motivation, setting and achieving goals,
improving memory and concentration, increasing self confidence,
and building self-esteem.

Most of us have habits or feelings that we’ve tried to change
and yet nothing we do seems to make a difference. We know how we
want to act and feel, but our decision-making and will power
doesn’t seem to be enough to have any lasting effect. Although
our conscious mind has made a decision to change, the beliefs
and ideas held in our subconscious mind won’t allow the change
to take place. Hypnosis allows the subconscious mind to move
into agreement with conscious desires and goals so you can live
a life of freedom and success!

Does Hypnosis Work?

Working as a Hypnotherapist is very rewarding as you get the privilege of working with people that want to achieve amazing success in their lives. In fact there is never really a day that I get out of bed and think ‘oh no - another boring day at work’ as each and every day brings many more new clients and many more new challenges that always keeps me on my toes! Many people also find my job fascinating and I am never short of anything to say when I am with friends or meeting new people as that age old question always rises about what I do! Actually someone asked it me just last night - ‘That hypnosis thing? Does it really work?’ I always laugh at this point and say ‘of course not, don’t be so ridiculous!’

Of course I am having a little joke with them in my reply. It still amazes me that people still don’t actually believe that Hypnosis can work. Are you a sceptic? Are you one of these people that still believes that it sounds ‘too good to be true’? Well if you are then it might be time that you woke up and smelt the coffee as you just might be missing out on something that you really need to give you the results that you want in your life. Listen to this - Hypnosis has been scientifically proven to both exist and work! Don’t believe me? Google it and you will find loads of research and evidence to suggest that Hypnosis doesn’t belong in the land of fairytales and magic shows, but is actually a viable option to get you the life that you want and to help you to attain the things that you want to have.

One question I always ask my clients is ‘what would you achieve if nothing was impossible?’ The reason that I ask this is because as we grow into adulthood we stop using our ability to set high ambitions like we did as kids and we start to create limitations and reasons why we cant achieve certain things. We actually begin to decide whether something is impossible or not - that’s right we actually set the limit on what is impossible!

As I said - Hypnosis is a viable option to achieve your goals. So I want to ask you the question - what would you achieve if nothing was impossible? Would you quit smoking, lose weight, get more confidence, make more money, improve your relationship or deal with that stress? These are all things that people regularly use Hypnosis for - actually, I worked with clients on all of these issues just in the past week.

The bottom line: Hypnosis works! Isn’t it time that you started to find out more information about how you can use it to improve your own life? You owe it to yourself!

Hypnosis and Weight Loss - the New Frontier or Parlor Game?

Can hypnosis help you control your weight or is it just a parlor game? If you are like most people, the first thought you have when you hear the word hypnosis is that of a magician making someone bark like a dog.

The word “hypnosis” is derived from the Greek word hypnos, which means sleep, although hypnosis is not a state of sleep. Hypnosis is in no way a new practice. Stone carvings of sleep temples have been found dating back as far as 1000 B.C.

Hypnosis is nothing other than an altered state of consciousness in which a person is guided with suggestions. No, the hypnotherapist cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. You must understand that all of hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The only way you can be hypnotized is if you are willing to be.

The hypnotherapist does not take control over you. You are in control at all times. When you’re in a hypnotic state, no matter how deep, and given a suggestion that would be against your will, morality or religious beliefs, you would do one of two things. You would either reject the suggestion and let it go or come completely out of the hypnotic state and challenge the hypnotherapist. The hypnotherapist cannot force you to do anything against your will. You must want to do it.

Hypnosis, in the 21st century, is more widely used by those in the healing professions, such as doctors, dentists, psychologists, chaplains, pastors and social workers.

Now, when it comes to weight loss, you know the drill -to lose weight eat less and exercise more. Burn more calories than you take in and you will lose weight. You have heard this a thousand times.

But is this what you really want to know? Of course not, your real question is “How do I actually make myself eat less and exercise more?”

By wanting to – sounds simple doesn’t it. But did you know that if you have resistance from your subconscious mind you cannot control your conscious desires?

No matter how much will power you have or how much you really want to lose weight, if your subconscious mind is not on board, you will not be able to lose weight. Control your subconscious mind and you will lose that weight. By learning how to control your feelings, then you can control your behavior.

You see, when it comes to your preservation, protection or procreation, your subconscious mind may have its own ideas that don’t support your conscious ideas. When this happens, you are unable to achieve your desired result, no matter how determined you may be.

Proof? Well, for one thing, you would not be overweight – you would just decide to lose weight and keep it off – right?

Now, how do you get your subconscious mind to change its thinking? How can we control our feelings and change our behavior? Self-hypnosis.

Remember, as stated above, the hypnotherapist cannot make you do something you do not want to do. With the correct application of self-hypnosis, you can take control of your weight where every other approach failed.

You see willpower, which is your attempt to consciously control your subconscious just will not work. By the use of self-hypnosis, you can change your subconscious mind, bring it into agreement with your conscious desires and achieve your weight loss goals easily – just as easily as it was to gain weight.

Once you take control of your attitudes and feelings, a whole new world opens to you. So many problems we experience in life are self-reinforcing cycles. Addictions (smoking, drinking), relationship problems (arguing, fighting), success and failure procrastination, lack of confidence) and more are all behavioral responses buttressed by emotions and subconscious attitudes.

So, is hypnosis a parlor trick or a legitimate treatment? If you want to lose weight, stop smoking, etc., then hypnosis will work – if you don’t it will not. A parlor trick? Only if you want it to be – you see, you are in control of your mind, hypnosis just helps you reach your subconscious mind to get it on the same page as your conscious. But only if you want it!

Hypnosis changes the subconscious mind, brings it into agreement with your conscious desires. Once you are subconsciously motivated to lose weight and keep it off,you will.

Control your mind and the world is your oyster!
